Status

Ok, I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. I’m going to let you know about all my favourite places to go in Sydney. I do have plenty more, but why not head out and see them for yourself this weekend! Don’t worry all you people who arn’t from Sydney, I intend on doing other states too 🙂

NORTH SYDNEY

Beyond Furniture: 306 Pacific Highway, Crows Nest, 2065.

Coco Republic: 420 Pacific Highway, Crows Nest, 2065.

This store offers an amazing mix of styles from industrial to french provincial. I love the mix of sophisticated armchairs and ethnic accessories.

Siekaup: Shop 1/360 Pacific Highway, Crows Nest, 2065

Modernist furniture everywhere you look. Watch out for really interesting sofa’s- perfect if your looking for a statement piece and love contemporary furniture.

Totally Love! This is like nothing I’ve ever seen! 🙂

McMahons Point Antiques: 143-145 Blues Point Rd, McMahons Point, 2060.

WEST SYDNEY

That Vintage Shop: 395-397 Enmore Rd Marrickville, 2204.

Newtown Furniture Haven: 435 King St, Newtown

Massive warehouse of everything! Huge bargains but sift through the unappealing as there is alot of 80’s pieces.

Ikea: 1 Oulton Ave, Rhodes, NSW, 2138.

Enough said, stock up on towels and space saving boxes.

Voila Maison: 70 Burwood Rd, Concord, NSW, 2137.

French provincial and hamptons living! Lovely nic-nacs too 🙂

EAST SYDNEY

Edit Studio: 137 Albian St, Surry Hills, NSW,

Orson and Blake: Devonshire St, Surry Hills, NSW,

Supacenta Moore Park:  Corner of Todman Ave and South Dowling St, Kensington.

This has almost every chain furniture store. My favs are King Furniture and Jimmy Possum. Head here when you need a piece of furniture but want to compare.

Lakota Trading: 12 Lenthall St, Kensington, 2033.

All recovered vintage pieces. Can be a bit pricey. I’m loving the vintage glass jars and dining tables, if only I had a larger dining area!!

SOUTH SYDNEY

Coopers store: 86 Woodfield Boulavard, Caringbah, 2229.

Wooden pieces- It’s not really my style, but I appreciate the quality.

Adore Living: 73 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea. 2227

Treasure trove of furniture, homewares…. everything you could possibly lust over. Be prepared to hunt as they have LOTS of stock!

As for me, I’ll be spending my Saturday getting lost in the Art Gallery of New South Wales with my lovely partner. Whats on for your weekend?

XOXO CAT
