Favourite Fabrics!

I have fallen deeper and deeper in love with the idea of custom upholstered chairs and ottomans over the past few weeks! There is no better way to get a signature look in your home then incorporating some of your favourite prints…

These are whats on my list!

Kelani is one of my favourite fabric stores in the Sydney area. They offer a service to create you custom cushions (in all different sizes) and custom lampshades. Whilst browsing through their range having this service available to you at a click is extremely handy!

 Also loving these prints!

Happy shopping everyone!

nǐ hǎo! Destination: China.

My partner is flying off to China in merely days, whilst being slightly jealous I’m also a little heart-sick as I know I’m going to miss him so much! I decided to slightly distract myself from the lack of a man hanging around, and instead completely immerse myself in asian inspired decorating styles. It wasn’t hard to get some great inspiration… check out these fab pics…

I was very easily inspired, but if you want to create an asian inspired look in your home… I warn you… Keep it a mix of modern and asian furnitures, the last thing you want your home to look like is a set from a Jackie Chan movie!

mmmm well I’m off to order some Chinese Food…

Lets ride a Giraffe! Destination: Africa

Africa is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to decorating! I love it to death… It is also one of the only styles which is produced predominately in its country of origin… got to love that! Have a look at my African decorating guide!

There is pretty much nothing that I love more than brightly coloured cowhide… It’s so textural and unexpected! The below rug goes on my wish-list! It is so well made and is simply stunning to look at!

I love the textural and nomadic touches of African style… It’s natural, unfussy and has a masculine edge. What do you think?

Bonjour Monsieur! Destination…. France!!

Bonjour!!!

France is a magical destination… the food, the shopping & those stylish women pounding pavement everyday. The last time I visited France I went to Paris and Nice. I was constantly impressed by the most stunning women, dressed impeccably running off to meetings or to lunch dates. There is something magical about this country… with such a rich history and a very popular decorating style it is one of my favourites!

Ornate furniture pieces with touches of gold and silver. Luxe textures and shapes are the epitome of the French decorating style! Look at these amazing inspirational pics 🙂

Well I’m off to buy a beret and a croissant…

Pour me a mint tea! Destination: Morocco

I love Moroccan inspired interior design! It was not hard whatsoever for me to find so amazing photos to drool over! This style is one of my biggest inspirations! Hope you love…

Hope you feel inspired 🙂
