All my life I have had a passion for interior styling and decorating. As a gemini I am often changing my living quarters. I remember my childhood weekends moving my bed and tables around my childhood home, constantly seeking reinvention. As I am now ticking off my fourth year living out of home I feel I have ample experience in discussing the trips the falls I have experienced in apartment living. Limited space, and often cramped living quarters should never be an excuse for lack of style.
Working for a furniture design company I also am in a lucky position to see many beautiful trifles everyday. This has inspired me to pass on my experiences with the trendy, the classic and the modern pieces which can often transform a space - either to the fantastic or the terrible.
The aim of this blog is to inspire those of you out there who love interior design but felt you may not have the humongous home to pull off the looks you find so inspirational.
A French provincial style interior is one of the most requested and popular decorating and furnishing styles worldwide. I love this look! Its fresh, inviting and does not over dominate a space… one of the best things is that French provincial furnishing mix so well back with other styles without too much clash.
I found these interiors so inspiring to create these combos with some of my favourite pieces…
