Get a French Provincial Interior Look in Your Home

A French provincial style interior is one of the most requested and popular decorating and furnishing styles worldwide. I love this look! Its fresh, inviting and does not over dominate a space… one of the best things is that French provincial furnishing mix so well back with other styles without too much clash.

I found these interiors so inspiring to create these combos with some of my favourite pieces…

The above is my idea of classic French provincial! Antique Whites, creams and gorgeous ornate details… Below is my favourite version of French provincial… French Blues and classic shaped French furniture with rustic blacks.

Throw a Tea Party!

When I was a little girl I would always have tea parties with all of my dolls. Decades later and I still love entertaining! I love throwing tea parties for my girlfriends, it’s the perfect backdrop to gossip, indulge and be girls again!

These are some of the things that inspire me, including my recipe for Banoffee Cupcakes!

Eclectic Beige Interior Design Look.

Throwing together neutrals is never difficult.. I found these great products which add a designer edge and character. My favourite is the armchair with the ‘Missoni like’ upholstery… this accent chair will instantly add some style to your home!

Creating a Colourful, Ethnic & Industrial Interior… It’s all about details!

I love this image…. This home has so many quirky details, eclectic combinations and a playful way with colour and texture. A home like this is about shopping for things with individual character, handmade detailing and nothing off any typical showroom floor… here are some things that I found.

This ottoman from Anthropologie is simply amazing…. It is a statement piece uses so many colours within its print that it should pop in most interiors. I also adore Mud Australia there ultra smooth handmade wares are beautiful and so stylish!

The brown and ethic materials work together beautifully in this design. Contrast is created between the neutral leathers and woods and the kitsch detailing of this brilliant owl lamp and linen cushion.

Olivia Palermo Apartment Inspiration

I am not really a fan of starlets. On my daily googling today I came across these images of Olivia Palermo in her apartment. I was surprised by her apartment style. Someone who comes across as a very over-the-top and wealthy woman has a rather modest apartment. I love her use of space in her living room, especially as it is a rather small area. I found these products which you could use to re-create this look.

Shadowline Coffee Table from Sydney Side.

I love Sydney Side’s entertainment cupboards as well! This coffee table is really beautiful in person. The bonus with this one is that it simply wipes clean so a little spill is no big deal.

Sussex Tub Chair from French and English. RRP: $995.00

I love this tub chair plus it is on wheels so it makes it easy to push around the room when entertaining. This is very similar to the one Olivia Palermo has in her apartment, just add a cushion.

Cornwell Wingback from French and English. RRP:$995.00

Roller Ottoman in Vivaldi Aqua from Plush. RRP: $649.00

Plush has great ottoman choices for almost any budget and lots of fabrics to choose from so you can get it to suit all your other furniture pieces.

Lisbona Throw by Missoni Home from Saks. RRP: $838.14

I love this throw more than the zebra but you be the judge.

Do you know of any celebrities that have amazing apartments?
