A French provincial style interior is one of the most requested and popular decorating and furnishing styles worldwide. I love this look! Its fresh, inviting and does not over dominate a space… one of the best things is that French provincial furnishing mix so well back with other styles without too much clash.
I found these interiors so inspiring to create these combos with some of my favourite pieces…
The above is my idea of classic French provincial! Antique Whites, creams and gorgeous ornate details… Below is my favourite version of French provincial… French Blues and classic shaped French furniture with rustic blacks.
I have never been to Bali, but its on the list… I could not get over the beauty of the images I found illustrating this amazing place. I’m not surprised that so many people flock to Bali for a cheap and relaxing holiday… it looks divine, don’t you think?
My partner is flying off to China in merely days, whilst being slightly jealous I’m also a little heart-sick as I know I’m going to miss him so much! I decided to slightly distract myself from the lack of a man hanging around, and instead completely immerse myself in asian inspired decorating styles. It wasn’t hard to get some great inspiration… check out these fab pics…
I was very easily inspired, but if you want to create an asian inspired look in your home… I warn you… Keep it a mix of modern and asian furnitures, the last thing you want your home to look like is a set from a Jackie Chan movie!
Africa is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to decorating! I love it to death… It is also one of the only styles which is produced predominately in its country of origin… got to love that! Have a look at my African decorating guide!
France is a magical destination… the food, the shopping & those stylish women pounding pavement everyday. The last time I visited France I went to Paris and Nice. I was constantly impressed by the most stunning women, dressed impeccably running off to meetings or to lunch dates. There is something magical about this country… with such a rich history and a very popular decorating style it is one of my favourites!
