Get a French Provincial Interior Look in Your Home

A French provincial style interior is one of the most requested and popular decorating and furnishing styles worldwide. I love this look! Its fresh, inviting and does not over dominate a space… one of the best things is that French provincial furnishing mix so well back with other styles without too much clash.

I found these interiors so inspiring to create these combos with some of my favourite pieces…

The above is my idea of classic French provincial! Antique Whites, creams and gorgeous ornate details… Below is my favourite version of French provincial… French Blues and classic shaped French furniture with rustic blacks.

Outdoor furniture looks I love right now!

I love outdoor furniture! In summer I adore reclining outside in summer with a gorgeous cold drink and the newest edition of vogue! Every outdoor furniture suite looks best with lots of fresh plants and flowers so make sure you plan a trip to the nursery as well!

The above look is so sophisticated! It’s my favourite…

The above look is a bit more lively and eclectic this would be perfect for a townhouse or small courtyard.

Get your balcony, outdoor or courtyard ready for some relaxation before spring!

Favourite Fabrics!

I have fallen deeper and deeper in love with the idea of custom upholstered chairs and ottomans over the past few weeks! There is no better way to get a signature look in your home then incorporating some of your favourite prints…

These are whats on my list!

Kelani is one of my favourite fabric stores in the Sydney area. They offer a service to create you custom cushions (in all different sizes) and custom lampshades. Whilst browsing through their range having this service available to you at a click is extremely handy!

 Also loving these prints!

Happy shopping everyone!

Host a Dinner Party in Style!

If your anything like me and love entertaining then you will love my tips for creating a gorgeous table! First impressions count! Making your guests feel at home with gorgeous surroundings is half the battle!

Look for classic combinations with playful quirks! I adore these Riedal glasses and Anna Chandler plates are perfect for print looks!

Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is my favourite drop for during dinner… it has a nice taste but isn’t too dry or over-powering.

This round crystal chandelier sends a sophisticated message to your visitors! I love them grouped together in this image!

If all else fails go with the classics: ivory, crystal, fresh-cut flowers and silverware!

Have a lovely week!

Throw a Tea Party!

When I was a little girl I would always have tea parties with all of my dolls. Decades later and I still love entertaining! I love throwing tea parties for my girlfriends, it’s the perfect backdrop to gossip, indulge and be girls again!
